Here is my love and hate relationship with this watch, after using it for about 2 years.
Love:
On the flip side, here is my hate relationship:
So if you are looking for a smart watch, make sure you consider the one that have a replaceable strap.
There are three well-known companies put their hand on this watch: Apple, Nike and TomTom.
Love:
- Battery life is really good, I can use it as a watch for up to 1 week without charging, 1 day with GPS tracking, 3 day with step tracking sensor.
- Its design is just the way most runner like it fit perfectly on my wrist and not heavy at all.
- First 4 months I start using it, Nike plus website has a program called "Challenge". Basically it is a multi users competition base on variety metric such as: Speed, Distance, Calories burn, etc...
I like this feature a lot, I keep myself active to get on the top of the list. - GPS tracking is a great feature I love it when I go out for hiking in the wood. It does not display mini map on the watch, but I can see the route in Nike+ website after uploading.
On the flip side, here is my hate relationship:
- NO replacement for its STRAP. Here is why Strap is vital for this watch to operate. We can only charge it via a USB connector at the end of the strap.
- Remember I mentioned about the "Challenge" feature? Yeah, Nike+ toke it down and never up it back online.
So if you are looking for a smart watch, make sure you consider the one that have a replaceable strap.

Recently TomTom, release a similar watch that we can replace the strap. I think they really learn their lesson in a hard way.
